  • God I wish I could go back in time and be the person who cut peoples heads off with an axe

  • Why?

  • There’s something wrong with me

  • you do that realise you don’t have to go back in time for that

  • Why rickrolling is problematic

The post got a bit long so I put it under a readmore. This is important, please read

  • this post is going around again today for some reason i’m glad people are spreading awareness

  • Yeah thank fuck this post has become news. I actually haven't thought of the addressed issues that were in this post and now I'm glad to have acquired this new knowledge.

  • Wow, I never thought of it that way. Good thing someone is raising awareness.

  • i think the bullet points after the second paragraph are unnecessary idk why they included it

  • Funny how things that are socially seen as 'bad' or used as insults are just a reflection of society's biases.

Example no.1 : mocking someone for looking/acting weird. The things that are seen as 'weird' and people get bullied for are literally stereotypical neurodivergent traits.

Example no.2 : calling someone a 'son of a bitch' literally only insult the mother, not the asshole you're talking to. Similarly, continuing along the line of misogyny, notice how feminine interests are the ones being taken the mickey off the most.

Example no.3 : I've seen so many people made fun off whenever they do things that don't conform to gender roles. And who else stereotypically don't fit in with gender roles? That's right! Queer people.

Example no.4 : making fun of people's accents, normally the ones associated with POCs (because I've never seen someone made fun of a French accent, but definitely Chinese ones). Racism and xenophobia at its finest

Example no.5 : using terms like 'narcissist', 'psychopath' and 'sociopath'. You know who those hurt the most? People with NPD and ASPD and literally any stigmatised mental illness. Remove those words from your vocab, there are better synonyms out there that don't harm people who are already having to deal with battles in their head.

There are many more that I could talk about, but we'd be here all day. I know that the world is changing, but society seems to be determined to remain stuck in the past unfortunately

  • i wish all trans boys a very kissed on the face by someone they love

  • no one:

asexuals before realizing they’re ace: isn’t it weird how we call people “hot” when we just mean, like, pretty? it makes it sound like you actually feel hot when you see them. which isn’t a thing. anyway

  • I would literally do things just so that people would pay attention to me, but as soon as I get attention, I just want to disappear

  • “Yes, mental illnesses can be stressful and cause issues in relationships with loved ones” and “no, mental illness does not make up a person’s entire personality nor does it make them inherently abusive or a bad person” are two statements that can and must coexist
